We are successful in many ways and your monthly donation will ensure we are able to provide more programs to our members and the community.


The sponsors who appear here have made a donation to American Legion Post 295. Thier appearance here is in recognition of their generocity and not an endorsement.

 

Sponsorships are on a yearly basis, from October 1st to Sept 30th each year. There are many booster opportunities available, use the form at the bottom of the page to contact us and request details.

Support Levels

 

Supporter opportunities are outlined here. As determined by their level of monetary support, a sponsor is eligible to:

  • Have an advertisement appear in Post 295 Programs. The ad size is determined by the level of support indicated below.
  • Have a reciprocal web banner appear on our on “Sponsors & Boosters” page to their site.
  • Web Page Sponsors will have a graphic with link to their site on the page of their choice, price is based on a sliding scale.
  • Have a “HoleSponsor” at a hole of their choice for the 14th Annual Post 295 Golf Tournament.
  • Notes:
    • No links to political sites, offensive or obscene sites or sites contrary to the principle of the American Legion, as determined solely by Post 295.
    • Direct mail solicitations by sponsors are prohibited under the policies of The Headquarters of the American Legion.

 

Dinner sponsor                                  $400

Dinner Sponsor - Post 295 will host a Baseball Team dinner at your Restaurant. The average bill has totaled $500. This level qualifies for: ½ page ad in Post programs; reciprocal web banner and billing on the golf tournament advertisements. Note: Golf Tournament deadline is May 1st.

 

Hole Sponsor                                       $300

18 Hole Sponsorships are available. Annual Golf Tournament averages 120 golfers. The event is held on the 4th Friday of September a the Montgomery Village Golf Club. This level qualifies for: Hole sponsor sign at hole of choice; Beer Cart is a premium; ½ page ad in Post programs; reciprocal web banner and billing on the golf tournament advertisements. Note: Golf Tournament ad deadline is May 1st. Hole Sponsor deadline in September 1st.

 

Web Page Booster                                   $300 - $100

Sponsor a Post 295 Web Page: of your choice, “if available.” Prominent placement under the main menu “This page sponsored by”; business card ad in Post programs; reciprocal web banner.

  • $300 – Home Page  
  • $300 – Mobile Web Site  
  • $300 – American Legion Baseball
  • $100 – All remaining pages

 

Engraved Brick Booster                       $300

Engraved brick, 3 lines, 20 Characters. Placed around the Flag Pole at Shirley Povich Field, home of the Bethesda Big Train and Georgetown University Bulldogs. This level receives business card ad in Post programs; reciprocal web banner.

 

Gold Medal Booster                               $250

Donate an item or service with a cash value of at least $250, to be used at an Post 295 event of our choosing, e.g., Monte Carlo Night, Golf Tournament or Legion Rider Poker Run. This level receives a ½ page ad in Post Programs; reciprocal web banner.

 

Silver Medal Booster                             $100 +

Donate an item or service with a cash value of at least $100, to be used at a Post 295 event of our choosing, as noted above. This level receives a 1/4 page ad in Post Programs; reciprocal web banner.

 

Bronze Medal Booster                              $50 +

Donate an item or service with a cash value of at least $50, to be used at a Post 295 event of our choosing, e.g., as noted above. This level receives a business card ad in Post Programs & reciprocal web banner.
